As we go back to our usual daily routines and schedules, trying to bounce back to some normalcy after the holidays, some days might become a little mundane and repetitive. 14th of February is a great occasion to bring a little spark back to your week and go to one of your favourite spots or explore new venues.
We have put together 3 of our favourite spots that offer an intimate setting paired with mouth-watering food and exquisite drinks. Most importantly, all three venues are located in areas that are buzzing with nightlife, if you feel the night is too young to retire!
Over the years Tiffany’s has pretty much become a household name due to its very popular champagne and cigar bar. A perfect spot for after work or after dinner drinks with your coworkers, business partners or your other half. Due to its intimate setting, it’s easy to mingle and network between tables. Tiffany’s Restaurant is a fairly new addition to our good old favourite spot, where they brought the high end food element to ensure you can have a fun night all in one spot.
Besides the owners’ utmost attention to keeping their seasonal menus delicious and innovative, they always ensure that they offer fun and fitting set menus for special occasions, such as Valentine’s Day!
Of course, we could not NOT add our ultimate favourite spot that offers a unique and luxurious experience overlooking the authentic Valletta. BeefBar maybe a slightly novel name on our island, but it’s a well know and established brand originating from Monaco. A family-run parent group was originally founded in 1960s but opened its first venue in 2005 taking the restaurant business by storm. Since its success story, BeefBar now has a presence in 6 countries; all the way from Monaco, France, Italy and Luxembourg to Qatar, Dubai and Hong Kong.

Since Valletta has become the centre of high end wining and dining experience, we could not forget Risette – the gem of Casa Ellul. With it’s regularly changing menu to offer its esteemed diners the freshest and the most flavoursome dishes, Risette’s kitchen is led by Chef Steve Scicluna, who boasts an invaluable experience from his previous work at Michelin star restaurants.
