Austria’s ORF Yoga Magazine uses the Maltese Islands as the perfect yoga backdrop

Yoga Magazine, ORF TV’s dedicated yoga TV programme in Austria, has chosen the Maltese Islands as the perfect yoga backdrop and is dedicating ten stunning episodes to exactly showcase why there really is more to explore when visiting Malta.

The main focus of this series takes the viewer to the island of Gozo, with Yoga exercises sessions taking place at the Marsalforn Salt Pans, Dwejra Bay, the Wied il-Mielah window, and Calypso Cave to mention but a few.

The Yoga Magazine series feature a host of guest Yoga Instructors including Nadine Brandl, a Cirque du Soleil performer and a Synchronised Swimming Olympian.

“We are proud to support Yoga Magazine for the second-time running as this show brings the beauty of our islands to a new audience, who might be prospective tourists in search of the perfect spot to unwind and take some time for themselves. These episodes also give an insight into the islands’ hidden gems, which we were more than happy to share with the audiences of ORF SPORT+. Once again, this collaboration is part of our strategy to holistically diversify our product, making it appealing to a wide variety of tourists,” Carlo Micallef, Deputy CEO and Chief

Marketing Officer of the MTA said.

Yoga Magazine, produced and directed by Bernhard Rabl, airs every Friday on ORF SPORT+ at 08:00 with repetitions airing the following Saturdays and Sundays. Episodes are also available on demand at the ORF-TVthek.

Moreover, after the episodes are aired on ORF, MTA will receive the English version of the episodes available for broadcast, on TV and Social Media Channels.
