One year ago, a simple chat among two friends became the reality that is Find the Door.
Managed by Catherine Alegren from 'Lovely Little Island' and Vanessa Conneely from The 'Blind Hedgehog', this beautiful artisan market has become so much more than a shop.
Together with the support of a great bunch of other small business owners, the women have managed to create a space where customers feel relaxed and inspired. The former bakery has been transformed into a place where people can shop, take part in a workshop or pick up a complimentary book from our Free Little Library.
The space has been curated to allow those who enter to enjoy the history of the building through the beautiful Maltese tiles, hidden staircases and even an old oven! The concept and collaboration led to the team at Find the Door winning four statuettes at November's Crafts Council Awards, as well as prize of e12,000.
Despite the challenge of a global pandemic, the small business is determined to keep its doors open and remain a part of the beautiful Three Cities. So come down and support our people by buying handmade jewellery, ceramics and baby gifts as well as vintage furniture, a variety of art and a large selection of unique souvenirs.
27 Triq It Tramuntana,
Birgu
