On Thursday 28 February both children and part of the cast of Così fan tutte experienced an extraordinary moment at the Malta School of Visual and Performing Arts in Hamrun.

Artistic Director of Teatru Manoel Kenneth Zammit Tabona, assistant director Annemiek van Elst, singers Jazmin Black Grollemund and Helen Sherman, and pianist/coach Gerardo Felisatti talked about all aspects of opera in an informal and entertaining way.

The year 7 and 8 students were hugely appreciative and evidently inspired. Wise and insightful questions were aplenty, and their meeting crescendoed in a magical moment for both cast and children.

The event was a joint initiative between the Malta School of Visual and Performing Arts and Teatru Manoel.
